Two-Factor-Authentication (2FA) can be such a useful tool to secure your account and protect it from getting it stolen but it carries some risks as well. Losing your authenticator can be a big nightmare. In most cases, there is no recovery from it if you’ve lost your 2FA but you can always submit a ticket to Epic Games.

The support team of Fortnite Battle Royale may ask you a series of questions to ensure that you are the actual owner of the account and these questions can be very challenging and hard to remember but this is the only way to recover your account. Once you get all or most of the questions right, you will have access to your account.

Also, assuming you still have access to your account and didn’t pass the 30 day period or not logging in from a new device, you can log in to your account from the Epic Games website and try to disable it. If it hasn’t been so long, the website may not ask you for a code in order to disable 2FA on your account.

If you can recover your account, we still recommend you to use 2FA but through a valid e-mail since uninstalling or switching phones can cause a lost 2FA once again.
