Two-factor-authentication or shortly known as 2fa is an option to add another security layer to your Fortnite account on top of your password. It works simple and it’s very easy to use. Although there are many types of 2fa, Fortnite has one of the best as it only asks you for a validation code when you’re logging on a new device or if you haven’t been logged in for over 30 days.

There are no specific requirements to set up 2fa on your Fortnite account. It is available for everyone, even for the new accounts. All you have to do to sign up on 2fa is to log in to your account on the Epic Games website. Once you logged in on your account, follow the steps below.

  1. Click on Account Settings at the top.
  2. Get to your Password&Security settings from the left menu.
  3. Scroll down and choose your preferred method to enable 2fa and whether if it’s e-mail or an authenticator app, receive the security code.
  4. Enter the security code you’ve just received and enter it to the Epic Games website.

Once you complete the steps above, you will be successfully set up 2fa on your Fortnite account. If you have any other questions about 2fa, comment down below and we will guide you through!
